Can anyone suggest some way to make the line edges created by this brush be smoother? if you view at even a moderate zoom level, the edges are very jagged. What parameter could be tweaked to accomplish this (it's often a probem with my presets)?

I'd probably turn off the Paint Source Offset (set Offset in that control panel to None). And i'd set the Paint Fill Apply Fill Algorithm to Apple since i can't see any real reason for the displacement effect to be used for what you want to do. I'd also set the Fill Option in Paint Fill Setup to Blend.

What would be necessary to to make AutoPaint strokes look more consistent from frame to frame in an animation? (Or even when re-drawing the same frame for that matter?)A fixed random seed for Auto Paint would help probably.
