There is no official studio artist twitter account, so feel free to go for it.

I've resisted the twitter revolution myself, since my personal feed might just say 'drinking expresso now' or 'waiting for xcode to compile' or perhaps 'wow, amazing preset'. I guess the 'update' feature on the member's home pages here at the forum would be the twitter like feature available here on the forum.

If there would be a way for people to shout out interesting presets and actually include the preset as a part of the twitter post for other 'followers' to grab and use that might be a cool way to use it. Again, since i'm not a personal twitter user at this point i'm a little unclear how people would use it in the studio artist context. But i'm open to suggestions and thoughts.

One way it can be quite useful is to tweet new photos/videos as they go up on the gallery/vimeo group/filckr pages etc.

For synthetik specifically, it could be infinitely useful for highlighting postings to the studio artist blog, the studio artist tips page, new presets, new tutorials and, in much the same way the forum does, users of note and works of note. In a way its all an echo chamber I guess. I tend to find it a little more useful than newsletters of RSS feeds as I pick up interesting bits of information from other folks twitter feeds and can relay it passively on mine.
