Hi Mr. Dalton and all of the community.
Is there the possibility to import a preset make from another user?
I mean. I wanna make an effect like these two videos:
https://vimeo.com/14867772
https://vimeo.com/groups/synthetikstudioartist/videos/111775003
I know they are different effects. I like both.
I just wanna know is someone could make a preset for this kind of animations and then send me the preset so i could use it in my video project. Because I really can't reach out this levels of perfection and I feel kind of frustrated.

Hi Dan... I tried to upload a file earlier for you... this should do it... see attached
Tho, as I mentioned earlier, "The key to this animation is not so much the preset I used... but that I hand drew the paint paths as keyframes along the entire duration of the source movie. I use sequential key framing and, created keyframed paths that aligned with the various shapes in the source movie."

here is a tutorial about sequential key framing that might help: http://www.synthetik.com/tips/2010/07/sequential-keyframe-recording/
First of all thank for your answer!
Well, I'm tryng to do some test but i can't have a decent result.
I upload the preset you send me. Then i do some draw with the "pen" mode. But the final result is an undefinied mess. Of course i am doing a lot of mistake. Actually i'm not really able to follow the tutorial. My english is bad. I mean: i understand the main part of the concept but when i try to do something i fail. Maybe a video tutorial will be helpful but i know that is hard to make one. So i will test around untill i found a solution :)
I understand. The main thing to understand is that my work uses Studio Artist's amazing tools... but almost none of it happens in an automatic "plug-in" sort of way. Typically it either involves manual drawing, using a tablet and pen... or it involves "paint action sequences" with multiple drawing and image operation steps... almost always custom designed for the particular source video's is, complexity and motion. I have been suit Studio Artist for about 15 years. I can honestly say that I spent the first year experimenting in 1000 directions until I began to get a sense of what tools SA had that excited me. I still am learning more each day. Be patient and have fun. I always thought of SA as a wild horse that takes me places I can't imagine.
Yeah Victor, I like your words :)
I will test around untill I will do something extraordinary! :)
