I would like to record SA going through the motions of painting an image. All I have been able to do is record the results of the sequence in a movie. Is there a way to record the sequence while it is being done and save it? Can I make a movie of each frame going through those motions?

Read more…I was crawling the streets of Matera, Italy today and may have discovered where SA is hiding! (see attached photo). Not meaning to make light of this great, sad mystery. But I just couldn't resist as I try to make sense of what's happening. I already answered this in your previous questions from yesterday. Again, you want to use a movie stream to do it. Check out the 'making a movie using interactive dual paint mode' tutorial movie, which shows how to do it using interactive dual paint effects. So just start the movie stream before running the action paint, and use the gated auto write frame write flag for the open movie stream. You can set the auto-write timing in the movie preferences. That preference setting specifies how often a frame will be dumped out into an open movie stream. Remember to close your open movie stream after finishing.
