I recently was bequeathed a shiny new widescreen monitor which I'm using with my Macbook Pro. Its opening all kinds of changes to the way I work in Studio Artist (floating palettes!)
The only problem I've had is encapsulating the layout of Studio Artist for use on a second screen. I do pretty much all of my work in SA on my second monitor, yet when I shut down the program and restart it or call up the user layout, what I get is a jumbled mess of floating palettes on my Macbook Pro's screen.
Is this normal behavior or am I missing a flag or setting somewhere? If it is normal behavior, I heartily request that this change for future versions of Studio Artist.
Also, I've always been curious about the full screen function (command - 0) and how it works (or how its supposed to work). I get the sense that its a free form "just paint" kind of layout since other palettes seem to be locked out but I'ld like to hear others chime in on it.

Regarding full screen layout, there are preference options for how it displays you can adjust in the studio artist preferences dialog.
As to screen layout, if you use the layout memories, it should allow you to configure different layouts you can recall using command keys.
Here's a tip that discusses configuring the workspace, and talks about the features i mentioned above.
Thanks John!
