I know I can use a PASeq to animate a still image and have a certain parameter change over the time of the animation. I very often change the angel of the brush around 360 degrees. I would like to have a changing effect like that happen over a video clip.
I am working with abstract base images of rainbow colors. I am thinking of having the rainbow rotate as well as the brush angle.
Is this possible? I have tried having a movie as the source, but all I get in the animation is the first frame.

If you are using auto painting, then you could just record a second keyframe if you want the source color and/or the path angle of the paint to rotate as the animation progresses from the first keyframe to the second one. This intro to paseq tip includes information on working with keyframes in the paseq timeline.
What action menu command were you running for your output. If you were running one of the animation as opposed to process action menu commands, then what happens to a source movie is determined by the current state of the File : Source Settings menu flags. You'd want the Synch to Timeline flag to be active if you want a loaded source movie to track the paseq timeline when running an action animate menu command (or running animate directly in the paseq window).
Thanks, as always, for your prompt reply. I'll check this out.
