Great Bernard!  Maybe you should open a company that manufactures Blinds

Thanks smm samm.

I bought Studio Artist 3.5 in 2008. I played with SA days and nights, hours and hours, to understand how it works, because it's composed by many tools. Several months on each tool. As John Dilworth (thanks) studied the MSG, I did it too. I also made a list with V4 and V5 processors 2 yeas ago, and I described each one with the Input/Output and other parameters to know what each one did. I also made many many tests with Fonts, that gave other styles to the paint synthesizer.  Sometimes, accidentally I finded some interestings ideas.

So this picture now. I used the paint synthesizer. I used the grid scan-max brush generator. You can also test other scan generators. Begin always with a black background. Change in the Path Shape panel, the Max Path Length in you don't want the black lines (increase). In the brush source panel, you can change the horizontal size, or space the vertical lines with the size controls. The result also depends on the size of your canvas, so you'll have to change these parameters. A 1500x1500 picture don't give the same result as a 4000x4000 sized canvas. I called it DNA because it looks like a DNA test :-).

Smm samm, you'll have to play with SA if you want to better know it. I spended many evenings with no results ! If Paint synth don't give results, play with vectorizer, etc...

V5 has new options, so you can create a paint preset, influenced by the vectorizer, with the Vectorizer Regionize generator, in the Path Start panel. A very interesting option !

Here the preset
