I'm loving this preset, "Chalk Style3", I changed a few parameters and added a dash of Gradient Lighting. I used PS to high-light certain components and crank up the color saturation.
All these ones were produced at 22x33 cm at 300dpi without using supersize. and look great if printed at twice at that size at 150dpi

It's pretty easy to mask things like interactive adjustments. Just select the area of the canvas you want to adjust. Then turn on masking before interactively adjusting. There's also a canvas : selection : feather menu command to quickly feather the selection buffer. As liveart mentioned, you can also modify the selection buffer with any kind of ip op or other Studio Artist processing.
Speaking of V5, what happened to V4.05? It was in beta, back in March
Comment by liveart on July 22, 2012 at 3:03am Tony, John mentioned in different post that there is some issue with a windows installer which is holding uo release
We tend to keep the incremental updates in beta for a long time (accumulating bug fixes as they are reported), because some users get very flustered or frustrated by frequent update releases. So we try to not have updates occurring all the time because of that, but instead spread them out over time. That way people who find dealing with an update stressful don't have to deal with it very often.
Anyone who has a pressing need for a beta build to deal with some reported bug is able to get one from us immediately by contacting tech support.
We should be emailing 4.05 downloads to everyone very soon.
