What device are you using for the cutting?

Are you outputting svg file from studio artist to use on the cutter device?

It looks like it was made with a cutter device, but I didn't use anything yet. It's a rendered picture. You can choose wood, metal, plastic, jewel diamonds, pearls,  etc... The look is really great.

I use simply jpg files.

I bought Rhinogold Pro a month ago. It's an industrial 3D software for jewelers world, based on Rhino 6. And it has many incredible tools.

Here I used Clayoo Emboss tool, and you can choose the height of the volume, and other settings...STEP 3D files are generally used with 5 axes wood devices.

Clayoo doesn't necessary need eps or svg files. You can use anything, and that is really cool. Here another example with an msg picture :cellular automata processor :

clayoo'emboss has 10 tools, here I used "carbon copy". Works well with squares shapes, but there is a smooth tool that deletes unperfections. I choose height 15. The height depends on the color. White is on the top, black, under.

Then I used the render tool, and choose some metal designs.

and then you can create the 3D file, with any extension you want, stl, obj, etc... Depends on your printer. If you use a cnc device, you choose the needed file. I didn't try these possibility yet....

Rhinogold is a very expensive software, specially for jewel design. My daughter is jeweler, and I want to use SA to create design.

I'm working more then a year on a method to translate a SA creation in real 3D Art. Below an example based on your Rutt Etra work

I also worked with using a CO2 laser and then create a layer design and paint it. Later on I will cut this from colored acryl to make it

making it more smooth I designed it in Fusion 360 and make it on a CNC router

Really cool to see the innovative ways you are working with Studio Artist output Danny.

Same goes for you Bernard.

Keep up the great work both of you, and i look forward to seeing more of it.
