Thanks Live. This was part of a test I am doing for a video i'm working on. It works better as a still than as a video due to some image compressor induced flicker in video tests. but there may be a way to blend the frames a bit to keep it to a minimum. thanks to the new iMac I can run tests relatively quickly... even at 1920x1080.
