Still Art PASeq Scripts > Non-Rep Generative > Evolver

So, let me ask about this ... Still Art PASeq Scripts > Non-Rep Generative and Abstract > EvolverI can't figure out when using this particular script where it's picking up the colours from to generate a final product. It sometimes seems that it does use some of the general base colours in the image. Other times, the background/base image seems to have nothing at all to do with the final colours that start being filled in in the first steps.I've tried using my own work as backgrounds,…See More

Hi

It's been a long time since I've created with Studio Artist.

I remember, working in San Francisco when my teenager was barely two, and visiting John and Candice in their offices. Being dazzled by SA — one of those few programs that simply captures your imagination. Immediately buying v1.0 through v2.0. Creating some great works, one of which was auctioned off in a SFO art auction, through simply play. SA was always, to me, about creating through experimenting and play. Childlike fun, but never childish (apologies to Twombly).

I'm looking forward to jumping back into the SA community, reacquainting myself with other "old" SA users, and generally contributing where I can.

Isn't SA fun? And isn't that the point of creating?

Good to be back.

P.S. I'll be updating my site(s) soon and posting some new work I'm creating with SA. Constructive comments and criticism always welcomed. I learn through failure and play.

RENDER IMAGE SEQUENCE WITH ALPHA

Hi, we're creating stylized cinematic sequences for AAA games here at Blackbird Interactive and we just bought a few licences of Studio Artist 5 to use in our pipeline, however we have hit a major snag that has stopped us in our tracks: We need to load videos with an alpha channel into Studio Artist 5, run a PAS on each frame, and export each frame into an image with an alpha channel. The closest I can get is to load up the video, and under Canvas / Alpha, turn on Paint Synth Alpha Enable, then…See More
