Selection/Masking Stability Problem

I am using SA 5, 64 bit version on a three month old iMac 21.5" w/4K Retina display3GHz Intel Core i516GB 2400MHz DDR4 MemoryRadeon Pro 555 2048MBPROBLEM: Selection gets distorted when using certain brushes or other commands in Vectorizer and Image Processor. The Selection I made gets garbled up and becomes unusable or masks out the entire canvas.Brush "Cubism 2" is an example of a brush that will muck up a mask or selection.Does anyone else ever see this?I have experienced this before with my…See More

Hey Francis:

Thanks for your comments on the two images. I see you are in Jupiter. Right now I am over in St Petersburg. Small world! I notice that most of your images appear to have started as photos (at least they appear that way to me). Are you shooting digital or film. I occasionally shoot some 4x5 and am curious about your process. Thanks again.

You are welcome Richard, I have noted your stuff for sometime.

99.5% of my work is from my own photos, have never used other's photos either. I using Canon equipment, have both a used pro 1D mkII and a 30D. I would love a medium format camera but the cost is high. Are the film models less expensive. I saw some sample images from the Pentax 645D on dpreview and they looked great, just had a different feel.

I started photographing about 8 years ago now. Like it a lot.

I just started a thread in the forum discussing creativity and artist training because sometimes I get stuck in shooting.

I like Florida and being from central Florida, thought I would not like it south but have come to love it.
