"I had downloaded the files separately. I then went back and downloaded the 3 files in one zip file. Got rid of the prior 3 files and got 4:02 to open.
I hope this helps others who may run into the same situation."
"I don't know if it is a permanent fix or a coincidence, but when I changed MSG scan generator in path start to smooth random it seems to work more consistently.
Although, this is not the thread for it I'd like to also mention that I have…"
"I figured that if the white canvass wasn't working I would try using another preset to put something on the canvass. After the other (color) preset started I then changed to LJ and it worked over the colored preset. Then it worked on a white…"
"I just tried it again on a white background and pressed the action button but nothing happened! I tried it repeatedly. I even tried drawing a few lines with it to make sure it was loaded. That didn't work. I erased the lines and tried again,…"
"I down loaded Lissajous Screen1.zip. I like what it does when it works. I find that it may work on one canvas and then on the next canvas I press the action button repeatedly but it doesn't do anything? Is their a bug?"
"What steps do I need to do to record etc?
I have tried both the pulldown record and the help record and then hit the action button. When I attempt to play it back nothing happens.
I have also tried to hit record with just the preset selected but…"
"By turning off layer playback and stripping out the actions that were on the same layer that I wanted I was eventually able to run the selected steps on the layer that I chose.
It seems that history sequence does not respond to turning off layer…"
"If you turn off layer playback for the PASeq preset in the editor palette then it will only playback on the current layer.
I believe the particular pantograph presets you are referring to that jump back to layer 2 were built using 2 layers with…"
"What would be truly wonderful is if we could click on the the layer number in the Paseq editor and assign the layer. I gather that this is not possible at this time with the current frameworks, but maybe sometime in the future?"
Rondan - thanks and glad you like it. This painting developed quickly as I sort of botched up my initial painting and headed in a totally different direction than intended. So I thought what the heck, run with it. We encourage "happy" accidents (when we aren't pissed off at ourselves) :-).
Rondan - the organic feel you get with SA is what attracted me to the app to begin with. The sgraffito look is achieved with layering (though I don't actually use layers) of color and texture using various combinations of "brushes" that destroy, texture and apply. Basically I just goof around until I get something I like and then go with it. Don't know if that is anything like your approach/style so maybe you have some ideas that might improve the process. Thanks again!

"There is a PASeq editor parameter called Layer Playback. If it's off, then the PASeq plays back on the current layer. If it's on, then the original layer information used when the PASeq was recorded is played back.
Here's a tip on…"
Let's say I run Gallery Show and find a paint action sequence I like and I save it. And later want to use it on layer 2, but it was created for layer one. Is there a way to change that sequence that says layer 1 to layer 2.I ask this because I might want to keep my layer 1 with what I created, but feel that the paint action sequence using a "MIN" composition would enhance the whole final outcome.See More
This piece was triggered by music recorded in concert, prompting me to treat the project as if my images were a third instrument, improvising alongside the two musicians.
The musicians are Waldemar Knade (viola) and Jerzy Mazzoll (bass clarinet)…
"You can record a history sequence that records what is running for gallery show output.
One thing to be aware of is that it's easy to configure gallery show to build up visual effects over time by combination of the output of successive…"
