Rondan - thanks and glad you like it. This painting developed quickly as I sort of botched up my initial painting and headed in a totally different direction than intended. So I thought what the heck, run with it. We encourage "happy" accidents (when we aren't pissed off at ourselves) :-).
Rondan - the organic feel you get with SA is what attracted me to the app to begin with. The sgraffito look is achieved with layering (though I don't actually use layers) of color and texture using various combinations of "brushes" that destroy, texture and apply. Basically I just goof around until I get something I like and then go with it. Don't know if that is anything like your approach/style so maybe you have some ideas that might improve the process. Thanks again!

That album is here:…
"If you want to combine different operation mode effects in a sequence to create a more complicated overall artistic effect, that is what Paint Action Sequences are for. Record all of your actions in a PASeq, then save it as a PASeq preset.
"If you run a single action step, then the editable controls of the operation mode associated with that action step are set to the values saved in the action step. You can then just press the action button in that operation mode to run the effect in…"
"Thank you, but I am still not understanding how to do this. I would like to get my watershed effect out of a PASeq so I have more control over it, basically turning that effect into a paint preset so I have control over where it starts, etc. Is this…"
