"Bernard you are far too modest. we all consider you an artist and one with a great deal of style and imagination. You have a great sense of composition and colour. Oh, and congratulations on your showing"

Thanks for your comment. Obviously i'm often a pretty busy guy. But i don't kill myself as much as i used to so that's probably why everybody's still waiting for version 4 of Studio Artist to be finished up (it will happen soon i promise). Beside, doing the art, music, and programming is fun so it's probably what i'd be doing anyway in some form. I do wish i had more time for the music stuff these days which has to take a back seat to getting v4 finished.

The business part of running a business can kind of suck to be honest, like spending most of today dealing with mundane and utterly stupid business tax garbage that has nothing to do with art or programming or technical innovation or anything useful for that matter, but it's unfortunately a necessary evil to getting things done in this world.

Tony thanks for the query about Emergence. Yes to both questions about size and substrate. The original file has the resolution to print up to and beyond a 40x40 print and yes canvas could be an option. I usually don't print some of the more subtle stuff to canvas because I find that the texture obscures the finer details. I usually print them on Hannemuhle William Turner or something similar.

If I need additional resolution beyond the original I use Photozoom Pro (s-spline) to enlarge. I pretty much try to generate 60+MB files now so I don't have to go that route. A couple of my earlier works were done as smaller pieces so I had to res them up.

I appreciate your very generous comments about my work! Thank you.

hi thanks for the various comments, I think years of real world painting and looking at 1000s of paintings has helped.
