well now this you CAN do via the recent source images in v4. I suppose if you wanted to add the (recent) canvas as a source which you refreshed- you could do a current view as new layer action on a regular basis (every few minutes or after signifi...

an alternative to this could be more than one source image, where image #2 would be the constant refreshed current canvas image #1 been the primary source ...and image #3 the lovely pinky flowers, image #4 the graphic that i created in photoshop ,...

yes john, i believe that's (the) one way to do this now you'll be disappointed because my idea is very simple... i was aiming for something less cumbersome (straight forward-to go backwards!- if you like) than capturing layers (each time!!) i do s...

You can use the current undo buffer as a fill from source, so you've already been able to do that since the very beginning of studio artist. however, you don't currently have access to any of the previous undo buffers on the multiple undo stack. I...

What a wacky concept, thisyour EMIT-BRUSH. Sounds more like a comic strip characters 'super-tool', maybe athing used 'time-backwards' to undo undesirable outcomes (in order to give randomness another chance maybe). In what way(s) are you dreamin g...

By selectively do you mean to rebuild the canvas only in the area covered by the brush nib, or selected area if using a region brush?

Hey there a73x15 sorry to be so tardy in thanking you for the kind words. Glad you like the two closely related images. I'm working on a few more so maybe they will be as successful. Thank you!

Hi a73x15,
Thank you for your comments. No, I didn't use somme HDR software, when I made some of these pictures (I didn't know what HDR means..:).....
All of these effects were made by SA. The latest pictures "street" with PASeq Vault effects. But today I also work with Photoshop, Painter, Photomatix (HDR).
The probleme with SA, is that there are so many effects, some very good, and at the beginning, when I bought this software, I didn't note the effects I used with some pictures.
Sometimes, with a little luck, you have nice effects !...Please, excuse my english.....

Thanks for your kind, and strong words!
About that thing you said about deliberation/random generation, Id have to add that the element of 'randomness' is what expands the 'deliberate', specific & literal meanings. Without trial and error, there can be no series of methods.
That quote at the top of your page, is it for real??

I'm not sure I've seen your user page since the last time I visited. I like what you've done with it.

Thanks for the message. The name of my website is the genesis of my favorite Jimi Hendrix album and a nickname from high school. Can't wait to put it back up.

Thanks for your message and compliment. I really enjoy using Studio Artist a lot. There is always an unknown factor in the equation that leads to pleasant surprizes. Right now I am staying close to the styles I feel comfortable in and building on them. The potential of the program is incredible.
