wow - relly nice shifty freakshow. I know how hard it is to make something both vague, suggestive and satisfyingly trippy - while juggling the tech. Great use of warpy fun.. Loved the distressed xerox pre-comped freight train moment. A-bomb moment really breathtaking too. Please recompress with more rez and put this up again.. I want to see it clearly!

Thanks for the invite, Willie. I've watched it several times now; you have some very powerful images, and there are obviously many different messages one can glean from it. Question though: I lose a bit of the cohesiveness. I "think" I get a sort of sequence of events--something like a "before," an "immediately after" and a "later," but even then, it's fragmented, as if the story is being narrated by at least three distinctly different consciousnesses. Was that your intent?

In this short a piece, effectively, I'm not being drawn into either a collective consciousness or even into a singular one. Is that possibly because you use so many of the weapons in the SA arsenal?

What other app was used for the composite, if you don't mind me asking?

..It seems like you are blessed with good company and creative souls..

some really powerful moments of tension and pressure..

..nicely contrasted to the music, which is lovely..

the 'squares' do not do faces' justice, imho

I like the way you take your time (same as in your "The Journey"). The pieces have their terms... they stick to those terms and suggests you hang around to experience the gradual, subtle unfolding.

More please.

Thank you Victor,
much appreciated, yes both of those videos took a very long time indeed.
the Last Night I Saw is the dream before wakening which implodes and fades viscerally within itself. Artmatic, Sfter Effects and Motion were also used in the composite.

AutoPaint Frame Continuity / Fixed Random Seed

What would be necessary to to make AutoPaint strokes look more consistent from frame to frame in an animation? (Or even when re-drawing the same frame for that matter?)A fixed random seed for Auto Paint would help probably. I checked out different types of "Path Start / Generator", but I could not find the right option. The best would be if that random seed can be animated, so it's possible to have more continuous strokes and more flickering ones.A hint would be very much appreciated, thanks a…See More
