Beautiful orchestration by Charles Coleman of Alexander Siloti's arrangement of J.S. Bach’s Prelude in B minor.
The moment I heard this, I knew I wanted to listen to it with my eyes, there’s such a deep and moving longing in this music.

This was performed by the Baltic Sea Philharmonic conducted by Kristjan Järvi during a concert presented by the Moscow State Philharmonic Society on the 23rd of April 2016 at the Tchaikovsky Hall.
The full concert, “Baltic Sea Landscapes”, is available here:

That concert was a special event, the complicity between the (young) musicians and their conductor is exceptional, the joy of making music together is obvious, so very inspirational.

Charles Coleman and I have done three movies before this one, here’s an album that contains them all:

Beautiful imagery Jean, with such rich colours, just like an oil painting coming to life.

Thanks Paul.

I consider myself more of a painter than an “animator”, that sets priorities that are quite different from those of animation or illustration, especially at the formal level.

alpha composite option query

Hi,I'm working with alpha layers and was wondering if the alpha / alpha1 composite options are the best way forward if I want to paint a few brush strokes in a layer?..It seems that using 'replace' composite leaves a sort of haloing around the brush stroke when all the layers are viewed, alpha composite seems to remove this problem, or is it my imagination?thanksSee More
