On November 5, 2019, Paola Erdas (harpsichord http://www.paolaerdas.it), Marco Ambrosini (nyckelharpa http://www.ambrosini.de), Angela Ambrosini (nyckelharpa https://www.angelaambrosini.eu) and Eva-Maria Rusche (harpsichord https://www.evamariarusche.eu) presented a concert based on J. S. Bach 15 two-part Inventions.
The concert was yet another Wunderkammer Trieste wonderful offering (https://www.wunderkammer.trieste.it) and it was held at the "Teatro Instabile Miela" (https://www.miela.it/bach-linvenzione-dellinvenzione/#more-17324).

The concert opened with Paola Erdas interpreting J.S. Bach’s Invention No. 1 in C Major BWV 772 (https://vimeo.com/427848244).
It was followed by various arrangements of all the inventions, and as the concert was recorded, I am currently able to work on movies made with/for/from the recording (stay tuned).

Here’s the Invention No. 4 in D Minor BWV 775, interpreted by Paola Erdas (harpsichord) and Eva-Maria Rusche (basse continue): https://vimeo.com/428502164

And this one is the Invention No. 11 in G Minor BWV 782, interpreted by Marco and Angela Ambrosini (nyckelharpa) and Eva-Maria Rusche (harpsichord).

Paola, Marco, Angela, Eva-Maria and I hope to be able to present this programme in live images - music concerts (stay tuned, again).

"Bringing the challenge back would be fun.  So yeah, it's a great idea.  The idea was that you would pick some piece of that you thought was cool, analyze what the components of it's visual style were, and then try to implement…"
