A Resource for Studio Artist Users

FINALLY made some time to do something I've wanted to do since I got SA4. I made an organic particle system in After Effects using the trapcode form plug in and then rendered it out and brought it over into Studio Artist where I added a sketch io to it. its the first iteration and its...interesting.

I love motion's particle engine! It reminds me in a lot of ways of Studio Artist (namely that it threatens to engulf an entire day if I'm not careful with it) however I'm back on freelance duty for the first time in a few years and have only my trusty macbook to keep me company (read: I can't run motion on it). Gave particle illusion a whirl as well but don't find it as intuitive (for me) as After Effects or Motion in the sitting I had with it. In terms of speed, I find Motion to be a bit faster than After Effects in the realm of particles.

very interesting. Have you tried the particle effects in Motion? I am considering getting the new FCP package in no small part because of the enhanced interaction with motion.
