Movie Brush

Hello I recently made a movie brush in which all my images had an alpha channel. I edited: Default -> 3.0 Tutorial -> PhotoMontage Brush2 to use my generated quicktime movie. The alpha channel was not acknowledged so I changed the Brush Type to: Source Alpha Brush, this was the only paint synth edit I made. Suddenly the images (as part of the brush) had a somewhat irregular black border around where the edge of that image's alpha channel was. There was also somewhat of an irregular black border around the original aspect ratio (64x64). However, every once in a while one of the images would come through perfectly WITH their alpha channel. So I really have no idea what's going on. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I included a pic of what was going on, (which I've never done before and hope works).

The controls in the Brush Modulation panel in the paint synthesizer are going to potentially affect the alpha channel as the source brush is resized. So you might be getting spill over as the alpha channel is being interpolated that shows off some adjacent pixels in the source outside of the original alpha mask (adjacent pixels) that perhaps are colored black. Try Setting the 2 Interpolation popups in Brush Modulation to Point Sample.
