Command line arguments

Hi there, first of all, this software is amaizing... great for that!...

Second... my question is... is it possible to create automatically using folder process of a Preseq with a folder of images from command line arguments???... So it should be faster just giving the order of creating using a Batch DOS file for create a lot of automatic art... just a question... or the software accept any kind of command line arguments?

Last point...  is it possible to autoadapt the canvas on a folder action preseq... if the aspect ratio of images are not simillar the result can be bad...

Thanks

  • You can batch process a folder of images and or movie files using either a single paint Action Sequence (PASeq) preset, or a folder of PASeq presets. So this is the way you could do batch processing today in Studio Artist.

Gallery Show would be another approach, since you can use it to scan a folder of images and/or presets, and output the images to a stream.

We are looking into adding command line script options for the next release.

Same goes for auto-adapting the canvas aspect ratio based on incoming source images.  The canvas size is fixed in V5.5 when you are running PASeq processing.  But we understand people would like th eoption of tracking the incoming source aspect when doing batch processing.

Studio Artist is in Italy!

I was crawling the streets of Matera, Italy today and may have discovered where SA is hiding!  (see attached photo). Not meaning to make light of this great, sad mystery. But I just couldn't resist as I try to make sense of what's happening. Losing my connection to SA, Synthetik and John has been a great sadness... and if real, ends a monumental era in my creative life. love,~Victor
