Hi John,
I've been trying for a long time but couldn't find the solution. I don't want any spaces between the circles. I want each region to be filled with a circle. How can I do it?
I used close pack circle regionize.
Thank you!

You can get issues with integer coordinate rounding introducing some small spaces between individual regions when filling then as circles.
If you are working with the Path Start Regionize option for the Path Type in the Path Shape control panel, you can increase the RegPath Scale above 100% to make the circles bigger.
That can improve things, but i usually try to filter out the super small regions since they are not going to draw well as raster 'region fill as brush' circles. You can see above they show up more as small squares that aren't quite touching adjacent larger circles.
But i suppose we should dive a little bit into what you are specifically looking for. The current implementations of the path start 'close pack' algorithms grow the new region circle or square until they bump into the closest region that has already been defined. But that's not a pseudo Voronoi packing filled with circles. Where after growing the circle until it bumps into the closest existing circle, you'd then move the center point to see if you could grow it some more if you did that. And i'm wondering if you really are looking for that?
So i guess i'm asking for some more detail about what you mean by 'spaces between circles'. Are you just talking about rounding errors associated with the raster region fill in the paint synthesizer, or are you really looking for a different kind of close packing?
You can use the Vectorizer to generate close packed circle representations of images. It does a better job of avoiding the rounding errors i described.
It's computing the circles and their vector fills explicitly as opposed to what is going on in the paint synthesizer where the raster region is being used directly, and then a raster paint path is atuo-generated off the boundary of that raster region.
I actually want circles with no spaces between them, like Tsevis' art below.
Thank you so much Bernard! Can you share me the values?
Yes but I don't know how to join the presets. I didn't post them a long time ago, and something have changed ?
I wanted to put them in the Cool Preset Sharing Group....
Give me your mail, I'll send them
I still see gaps between circles. If you look at Tsevis' example, you can see that there are no spaces between the circles. I couldn't find how to solve it :( Thanks a lot for your effort.

There are also black regions in Tsevis example. My bubbles are everywhere :-)
You can change the settings of the presets to adjust gaps
In tsevis's example, only the background areas are spaces, that is, the darkest areas. There is no space where the light comes in :)
Hi Bernhard, could you please share the presets also with me.For long time I was dealing with the similar problem. You got the solution.Thank you.
