The ModBook Pro is a 3rd party transformed Apple MacBook Pro. The transformed computer is a pen and tablet style mac computer. It's been in the news for awhile this year, but you can finally buy one. It's not inexpensive, but i thought i'd pass along the info for anyone interested. Seems like it would be fun to run Studio Artist on it.
You need to be a member of Studio Artist to add comments!

I agree. It does look like it'd be fun and its soooo not inexpensive. I wonder how the get around the licensing agreements for OS X?
They buy Apple macbook pros and then modify them to make the tablet.
and a SA version for IPAD ? ....
Given the amount of development time it would take, that would be an impossibility.
Also, consider the amount of cpu and ram it would need.
I bought the IPAD retina version, can now use SA on it and paint with fingers...

Well this half answers the question I logged in to ask. Is there a way to change the cursor for live performance/screen recording situations within Studio Artist on a Mac? I have an upcoming video project wherein I would like to do some paint effects that paint on the screen but obviously do not want a cursor in the image. Suggestions?
There are 2 preference options associated with live performance in the General tab of the main preference dialog. The Full Screen Display options, and the Full Screen Cursor option. You can set the cursor to hide there when in full screen display.
Here's a tip on some Live Visual Performance features.
Thanks! Awesome as usual.
