Hi,
I was going through my backups and found hundreds of old presets I made that I can no longer load (or see) in Studio Artist 5.01_64bit Mac. To clarify my backups include presets that I made both in SA4 and SA5. When I place them in the right preset folder, I can use the SA5 presets but not the SA4 presets. Manually trying to import an old SA4 preset does not produce any result either.
Any advice or help in recovering my old work would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Liubo
P.S. I am attaching two presets from the same archive for reference. One is broken and the other one works in case it helps identify the problem. I am on Mac OS X 11.2.1.

The other Big Sur M1 issue to be aware of is that any presets that use movie brushes or movie background textures are most likely not going to work properly until the movie files are converted into a format supported on those os versions (which are missing the quicktime api and can not open many common quicktime codecs (like animation codec which we heavily used for movie brushes). This is true on both Catalina and Big Sur.
Once again, you would need to do the movie brush codec format conversion on a pre-catalina mac. Apparently the animation codec was too technically sophisticated for apple computer to be able to write an import routine for in their ill named quicktime player app on catalina and big sur. (i'm being facetious, they just don't care about their users having compatibility with their old work, which we can shorten to they just don't care about their users).
