I have a tremendous fondness for (real world) Magic Pencils. The multi-color effects of the lead means I have very little control of the emphasis of line edges - which forces me to focus more on what the line is doing - rather than how the line is defining the edges of a sketch. A little hard to explain - but basically the randomness of the lines de-emphasize the execution and force me to work toward a clearer intent.
This set of Paint Synth presets is meant to be used as hand drawing with a stylus on tablet tools - for sketching.
