I'm some really old guy with little computer sense, so forgive me if I sound totally darkish.
I learned a little about SA in the art department of my publishing house when I had a job...a long time ago. They had Studio Artist 4. I never got above playing with it at the most superficial level and shared some of my work on flickr...those contributions are now lost because Social Security limits my indulgences. Any, I was generously given a copy of SA 5 but many of the presets I used, particularly from Paint Synth, are no longer part of the package, or if they are I can't find them. I'd really like to, all those bamboos, the steadmans, I don't even remember them all. (But memory is another problem, if I recall.)
I saw one posting from someone who said he had all the presets, except maybe from the day of creation. Can anyone help me now to find them somewhere. I'll worry about figuring out how to install them if it becomes necessary.
It seems I can't post to the galleries because I don't Tweet (I leave that to that guy in Washington), and I don't have a smart phone: I have a dumb one that lets me make and receive calls, basically to and from my wife. But they will show up on flickr again, until I reach 1,000 and then I'll start over.
Thanks for reading this far, and I hope someone will be willing to help. I'll never be the kind of artist some here are, nor will I ever create presets, but damn, I have fun seeing what happens to some of those nudes I've kidnapped from the web.
