Generative Paint Preference Deep Dive

I'm going to try and do a more comprehensive over view of some of the different generative paint preference options you can work with in Studio Artist V5.5 in this forum thread.  What they do, and how you can use them.

The generative paint preference options live inside of the Gallery Shoe and Generative tabs in the main preference dialog.  You can get there quickly using the GS Edit button in the Gallery Show Toolbar.  You can also use the main preference menu as an alternative way to get there.

Studio Artist V5.5 also was designed to try and bring some of this generative paint capability up to the surface of the main working interface. So we'll be covering where those features live, and how to use them as well.

The new Power Toolbar in V5.5 has a few buttons in it to help you out using these 'up in the interface' generative paint features in your workflow.

The Power Toolbar does not come up in the workspace in the initial get started workspace configuration that appears the first time you use Studio Artist V5.5. You can turn it on and off using the appropriate menu flag in the main Windows menu.

Our design spec for the new Power Toolbar has a lot of other functionality that is turned off right now in the initial V5.5 release.  For example, you may have noticed that there is a new tab in the Preset Browser that is empty right now called PT.  Additional Power Toolbar features that let you utilize custom PowerTool preset folders will be coming down the pike. We need to clean up the code for that before we turn it on.

We also want to add additional interactive controls in the Power Toolbar that let you get at all of the various Smart edit commands in one compact, easy to access with minimal mouse movement place.  We have to build a new kind of interactive popup control to pull that off the way we want to.
