thanks, it would appear the new version of gleetchplug has a full midi implementation capability..so it could be fun...it would mean relearning to play..but it wd make a cool ambient glitchy instrument!..

Thor, not SA related, but it came from a discussion on here, I have been doing a bit of research on OSCulator and wondered about using a midi guitar through OSCulator and controlling gleetchplug?..could i set various midi messages..notes etc to control the different parameters in gleetchplug and create a virtual instrument..
I thought i would ask you as you have experience of using it...thanks

so, jetzt reichts mit diesem lobgesang: that's what you get for getting stoned!
machs gut, bin weiter gespannt, max

ps. hier findest du die alten und neuen synthie-schätzchen:

      and a must: "www.kraftwerk.de"

What version of Studio Artist do you own?

    4 +

How do you use Studio Artist?

I use Studio Artist all the time!!!! I like to do a lot of layers, region selections, region-fill-as-brush actions with an MSG processor routed through the brush, warping, alpha channel transparency, etc. I also use MSG Evolver a lot. I actually still use MSG Evolver for sometimes even though it had been pretty much incorporated into Studio Artist 4! :) I usually make things by generating a series of numbered frames (PNGs) that I then import into Flash, where I make interactive stuff happen. Lately I have been using 3D programs like ZBrush and Blender and then taking the images & animations I render from those into Studio Artist.

    About Me:

I am a multimedia artist and musician. Visually I use Studio Artist, ZBrush, Flash and PureData/GEM the most. In the sonic realm I use my Didjeridoo, Moog Rogue, Moog Prodigy, Ableton Live, MetaSynth, Reason, Digital Performer, PureData, and more. I really love using the Arduino microcontroller in conjunction with PureData, GEM, Flash, whatever else I can hook it up to. I use VDMX to do live performances where I mix the videos I make in Studio Artist etc. along with my music. I am interested in Peace and Love for all people on Earth. I try to use my art as a blunt instrument for Peace.
