Very cool Mark. Glad you got the whole process working.
Maybe at some point you could post a little tutorial of all of the steps involved for anyone interested in pursuing this.

yes john I will..its taken quite a while to sort out the steps in my head...i will refine it further and post one.I was also thinking of using it as an aid to producing printing plates...intaglio..engraving..etc

replace the plotter pen with a diamond stylus, the paper with a copper sheet and you are all set..
