Now you are doing here Canvas Grab from the Gallery, are there in new versions (that you develop with effort), apart from the image of the Canvas, the possibility of capturing the parameters of current preset?
For example, I now enjoy this wonderful image, how can I restore this process to create another versions or Even this again in a very large canvas?

Can we regenerate this in vector mode as I asked before?

You can save out presets while Gallery Show is running, go to File > Export, and then export whatever kind of preset it is that is running into a proper folder such as a Favorites or other folder in the SA system that will work.

At the bottom of the gallery show preference tab, you can select options for auto-streaming our gallery show output. So if you want to stream out PASeq presets in addition to canvas renders, select the appropriate option there.

One thing to be aware of is that many of the art strategies i use involve recursive actions over the course of several gallery show cycles.

o a PASeq preset that encapsulates what happened in one gallery show cycle is not necessarily going to create the entire effect seen in the rendered output canvas if this is indeed the case.

This particular effect is using a generative paint preference setup that might be raster or vector. And the gallery show art strategy involves additional start and end cycle processing that consists of generative raster effects.

If you took care to setup a generative strategy that only used vector elements, then the auto-generated presets would be vector in nature.

Probably as usual, SA surprises me, but I have noticed the Gallery Show section alone needs to save and load its presets. (Scripts that include Gallery show parameters)
Even install some of them with the default setup.

File : Export : Export Gallery Show Settings menu command exports gallery show settings.

File : Import : Import Gallery Show Settings menu command imports gallery show settings.

SA V5.5.3 does not export and import the Generate control panel settings when you run above, but SA V5.5.4 does. So you probably want to wait for V5.5.4 before you start doing much with those 2 menu commands.

SA V5.5.4 also has gallery show QuickEdit commands, that let you do some higher level gallery show configuration with QuickEdit commands.

Things to be aware of.

Those gallery show settings may reference things like Current Favorites Category. But not what your Current Favorites category was actually set to, or what may or may not have been inside of there when you exported.

The gallery show cache locations for things like image folder brushes, image folder background textures, MSG cache, text cache etc are not currently saved when those settings are written out.

Nothing concerning what is loaded into the Style, or how it's data augmentation options are configured, is currently saved in those settings.  But if they are used in the gallery show art strategy, they could have a huge impact of the overall visual appearance of the gallery show art strategy.

Most important, Synthetik reserves the right to change how the gallery show and generative preference tabs are configured as we move from update to update. So that means that gallery show settings written out in V5.5.3 will not necessarily set things up the same in V5.5.4.  In fact, i can guarantee they will be different.

This is a very different philosophy from normal Studio Artist presets, which go to great lengths to maintain compatibility with older versions.

it reflects the fact that gallery show is a living work in progress. As i keep pointing out, the generative properties and behavior of each V5.5 update are different.  Obviously there is some cohesion, but even from internal build to internal build within a fixed point update version, they may be changing.

If you care about that kind of thing, you will want to keep around all of the V5.5 point releases.  Especially if you grow attached to how a particular generative preference option works, because it might be somewhat different in the next point release.  Think of each V5.5 point release as a unique edition print.

I did the upgrade from 5 to 5.5 recently (5.5.3 full install). I'm interesting to get always the newest builds. How I get the info, when they are available for download? ThankYou

Just added an option to choose between the normal character nib vs a word nib in Text Brushes in the paint synthesizer.

It's getting better, but there is still work to do.

The default text cache has a multiple set of entries now, as opposed to the fixed default one we previously had. I'll leave it as an exercise for the viewer to figure out the new ones we added.

You can point it at an external folder for gallery show text cache now.  That will override the default caches if you activate that.
