I've been playing with this process of building up a painting in an iterative fashion. Where you build a strategy that plays out over the processing of multiple frames. The source for your multiple frame output could be a movie file, or a single static image. And the output could be a movie file, or again a single static image.
People tend to think of a PASeq as a script to build a single finished effect in a single pass. As opposed to what is happening here, where the effect builds up over multiple iterations of that PASeq script processing the canvas over and over again.

The top version is a very rich image. I particularly like the colors. To have it come alive as an "animated" version as you suggest would be great.
