"Please don't hide or even tuck away in Library the Presets folder. I constantly edit mine and love knowing where things are without going into dark places on my computer."

If you open the Editor when in MSG operation mode, there are the standard studio artist controls for choosing the IP Source (source image, current layer) for the current MSG effect as well as composite and mix settings for the output of the MSG effect.
The Evolution Editor previews always works off of the current source image. The
