Shows off simple use of paint synthesizer time particles to create a transitional shatter effect where an image blows apart over time.
The trick to this is to use the 'Time Particle Start Point' Tracking option in the Paint Source Offset control panel. What this does is record the positional reference in the source image for each time particle. So as the time particles move in an animation they are still referencing their original source image position every time they are drawn.
I'm using a 'Source Image' Fill To setting in the Paint Fill Setup Control panel. I used a 'Hexagonal Grid Scan' for the Path Start Generator. The time particle path angle in the Time Particles 2 control panel is set to polar, and i have the TP Boundary set to Ignore.
