I appreciate your thought, NewJack; i agree (tho praising my own work is something i usually do only in private... well, to the cats mostly. but i was surprised after i made this at how much i liked it... as if someone else had done it). If i may... i like the airiness and the pleasant tension that derives from the lonnnng space between the first and second piano phrase. i like the breath/wait at the beginning, before the motion starts. i like the slowness (which gives it grace) which dances with the continuously redrawing crystalline edge of the rectangle frame (which gives it energy). i like that it feels like a painting i would do if i were a painter.

if i were told i had to choose to use SA in only one mode, forever, i think it would be doing things like this... using region draw, drawing simple shapes and keyframing then over time to express/extrude such shapes.

thanks

thanks Live... funny how that works. i'd like to say i will extend it. but maybe that's what makes it work... that it has a sort of ellipsis feel to it... ... ... .. .

Problems with video output

Hey everybody, I'm new here and totally new to Studio Artist, as well. So far I'm loving the program--everything I create in the program looks amazing! But I'm having trouble exporting finished videos OUT of the program that actually play. I did receive a nice email from Peter here when I emailed Support but he also asked that I post my questions here on the forum so others can see and chime in.Basically, what I'm trying to do is use a pre-exiting mp4 video as my source and then auto-rotoscope…See More
