The fine vector paint is generated from a TSP (traveling salesman problem) sorted set of automatically generated regions (made with new Mondo Simplify Path Start generator in Studio Artist V5.5.5). I'm using a modulated water wash and spatially adaptive blur filter for the dispersion components. The dispersion components act to create a geodesic flow across the canvas that fills in the paint coloring from those fine painted lines over successive frames in the resulting animation. Everything is being driven from a Transition Context loaded with a set of face images used as keyframes, and then time expanded by a 15X ratio.
