The original image was a sepia print. I used all presets (haven't graduated beyond the presets yet. Haven't even explored all the presets yet). Here's what I used:
I used the presets but did not hit the action button. I painted with the preset as if it were a brush. I like white space in this kind of image which would actually be called a drawing, I think, a pen and ink with wash
It would be interesting to use the eraser preset or to put in highlights like you might with gouache in traditional media.
Loved this as soon as I saw it along with aother image of woman and also wondered which settings you used.
I am using SA 3.5 at the moment, instead of 3.5.2 which I have at home, and cannot find the palletize and pastel scribbler settings you list for this image:

source image / palettize
artistic cloners / pastel scribbler 2
wacom / soft bw edge
wacom / clone source, soft
I went back and forth with these three, using them like brushes, till got the effect I was looking for

Have gone through the preset categories dozens of times, but no luck. Perhaps they are only to be found in 3.5.2 .
Would you mind clueing me in as to where I can find them? Greatly appreciated! Thanks!
It's extremely difficult to find presets, I know. I've started writing them down when I find one I like. Here's a screen pic:
