Thank you. No, manual painting with wet brushes, then using wobbly sketch preset, and cloner brush and a lot of fiddling back and forth with all three. Must confess, I did a final pass with smart blur in photoshop. What is the SA equivalent of smart blur? As far as I know, I have to go into photoshop anyway for signature so it's not a big deal to do a final tweak with ps.
SA has several was to effect what the PS smart blur filter does. There is of course the ImOp "smart blur" also the Adaptive Filter ImOp would give you nice results. But the closest to the PS action is probably SA's "smooth" ImOp.
