SA: Image op/flatten, image op/feather, watercolor 1 hand-brushed presetover that. Image op: tighten. Paint synth: palette, color applied aswatercolor glazes. Photoshop: ran through raw image processor for vibrancy;photoshop, smart blur, sandstone texture, signature, borderBased on a photo I took at a bonsai show, forgot to note the name of theexhibitor.

  • this is lovely, great Light. But why head out to PS to do the texture? SA is a texture monster. Not only can you do sandstone and arches paper type textures, but you could even create your own unique texture which would then be like a watermark to Identify your works.
  • Um, you're right but I haven't got SA that figured out yet. Haven't really played with textures yet, obviously. The raw processor did add a vibrancy that I don't know if you can get in SA or not. Course, it's for photos but PS doesn't know the difference, lol. Will check out the textures next, I guess, sounds like a good plan.
  • I'd be curious as how to achieve sandstone, paper textures and the like with SA. Big in-your-face textures are all that I've been able to come up with, except for one happy accident which I cannot duplicate. Perhaps you would share the parameters needed for this, liveart?? :-)
