Mi Casa es Picassa

I've always liked this kind of art and this copy of Picasso's 1932 'Woman in a Red Armchair' was fun as an excercise in planning an approach to a session, region selection, and 'painterly' brushwork (way overdue). His sold in 1997 at an auction at Tiffanny's for $20,000,000. If you want I'll sell you this one for way less, I need the money. (no disrespect to P.P.)

  • It looks like it was fun to do! Well, you could say Picasso's ghost came back to paint it, think of all those Elvis sightings and the Virgin Mary images etched in window panes and on sandwich bread. Maybe you could go on CNN and be interviewed by Nancy Grace, get yourself up a la Dali, you know, with the mustache and some kind of cape and a pet bull for the Spanish touch. El Greco was your great-grandfather. lol
