  Thanks Troy yes it is from a photo source. I used features of the adjust operations at the end to decrease the tonal range to be more like a painting. Or to be more specidic a painting with a softer/gentler feel. To further the painting feel it also has color opponent layers/ subtractive opposites blended through with cloners and rubbed out with alpha eraser also.

  I really like this. Great subject matter, very nice feel. It's a bit magical.
