  I love the ragged look of the trees. Nice choices.
  Did you do this all with Image Processors, or where there other techniques mixed in to get it just right?

  you can get an effect like this with trees and other line work using fracture displace. I alternate a min and max blend. See my "winter road Vermont" piece

  But I am curious as to which edge op you used. I like the effect on the road line and guard rail.

  Another ImOp to try would be Smart blur with small displace, min mode, symmetry and curved tracking. But of course this would affect the whole image not just the trees.
