  This was a first for me. The source was a scanned book cover picture and had dot matrix in it and the mildly 'painted' skin effect I was trying for was somewhat tainted by that, unfortunately, but better source next time. Here's an earlier pass that did away with that problem in it's own way and that has a more impressionistic look. Personally like this second one better.
