I commented that this was "light fun". That might be a comment about the subject matter (clearly not filled with a lot of dark angst)
But - working with Studio Artist can actually be pretty "light" (or uplifting/lightening) as an art making experience as well.
The actual act of painting with SA is an experience often as pleasing as getting nice end results (a picture). The interactive aspect of so many Paint Synth presets is far closer to a real world art media experience - where things interact - pigment with pigment, pigment with surface... Anything can happen and often tensely watching (trying to control) the evolution of interacting paints to catch the optimum moment (or intent) can be a major charge.
My thanks again to John and the Studio Artist developers and community for creating/enhancing a digital tool that taps into the joy of art creating.
