DAP, is a fun tool. But if you can describe what you are using it to do for the images, I am confident that it can be done directly in SA and thus save you a step.
I dunno, I tend to do like a dozen versions of one piece, layer them up in PS, and then spot mask like crazy. There are certain strokes that I find I can only get from certain presets in DAP, so I'll run an image for a bit in each preset just to get a handful of those strokes to place during my mask-a-palooza. Like some of the distressed texture above her head, that's Tempura in DAP and I have no idea how to recreate it anywhere else.
