Migration ofSquifids

The squifids are a text brush using webding 'g'. I'm trying to build a brush that has rectangular segments continously along the ribbon-like stroke, but it's very elusive. Anybody have any suggestions?

You could try faking the rectangular segments by configuring an appropriate background texture that tracks the path.
