By the way, in this case I must have used 10 layers or more, constantly adjusting colors, values, saturation, bias, chroma as well as saving the results, adjusting bits and pieces in photoshop and re-importing. All done intuitively by eye until I got a look I was happy with. The process is not quantifiable and I actually am painting with layers as much as using SA brushes.
Thank you very much Paul. For me, that really does open up the image. I've gone to the full size option [which I rarely do] to better enjoy your efforts. What at first glance appears to be a filtered photograph is now a full grown digital painting, my eye having been schooled, is seeking out your imprint. A very fine work indeed.
