    By the way, in this case I must have used 10 layers or more, constantly adjusting colors, values, saturation, bias, chroma as well as saving the results, adjusting bits and pieces in photoshop and re-importing. All done intuitively by eye until I got a look I was happy with. The process is not quantifiable and I actually am painting with layers as much as using SA brushes.  

  • Thank you very much Paul. For me, that really does open up the image. I've gone to the full size option [which I rarely do] to better enjoy your efforts. What at first glance appears to be a filtered photograph is now a full grown digital painting, my eye having been schooled, is seeking out your imprint. A very fine work indeed.
