Thanks, yeah this was started with a source photo of bubbles on a soda glass taken with a USB microscope. SA expanded the colors fantastically I think, as the original was somewhat blown out and showed very few colors besides blues and ginger ale.
your source makes it all the more interesting, but I was rather hoping the bubbles were a preset I could duplicate.
would be great fun to draw bubbles like that at will.
You could make a movie brush preset where the movie frames are bubbles that include an embedded alpha mask for the bubble shapes. That would be a way to build a paint preset that paints with realistic bubbles.
I've also seen some paint animations that Victor has done that have bubble like time particles, so i think it's fairly straightforward to generate bubble like effects using more conventional computational sphere source brushes.
