Hi, here is a new video, lots of MSG (background layer) and MSG generation path starts along with Time Particles in the paint synth, the "Piggy" figure I made in ZBrush and then animated in Blender, with embedded alpha channel, then took into Studio Artist and made into several different kinds of Movie Brushes. Several layers composited together in Blender. Music made with Bespoke Synth and my Shenai. If anyone has any questions about how it was done I'd be happy to explain more.…
I am not sure if this forum is active anymore... I thought it would be fun to post a very early piece of mine made with, probably, SA3 or 4. I have been a user since 2001.

Cool. Looking forward to checking out the new Illusion of Safety release. Is Tom Dimuzio involved with the new one at all?
I really like the movie with music.
As a music producer I am trying to create movies using SA but I am a loss as to how to "stretch" the PAS to match the length of the musical piece so that the transformation from original artwork/photo evolves slowly to the finished piece.
Any help would be appreciated.
Movie output timing is based on the number of frames output in the animation, and the FPS (frames per second) timing of each individual frame in the generated movie file.
You can specify the FPS (frames per second) of the Studio Artist animation output. Movie tab in main preferences dialog.
So if your piece of music was 100 seconds in length, and you specified 10 FPS output for the frame timing, then you would want the animation to be 1000 frames long in order for it to play for 100 seconds.
You can set the frame length of a PASeq animation output using the numeric control to the right of the Animate button at the top of the PASeq window.
PASeq animations are output using the Action : Animate with Paint Action Sequence menu options. To a movie file, to a folder of images, etc based on the menu option you pick when you run the command.
If you are processing a source movie, then the frame time numeric in the PASeq winow is ignored, and the number of frames processed by the Action : Process with Paint Action Sequence menu command is determined by the number of frames in the source movie.
Thank you so much for the very fast reply.
I will apply the above and hoepfully will achieve the result I want.
Is it possible to set the length of the loop itself, not the actual movie length?
Not sure what you are referring to by 'loop'?
I think I am confusing myself! When I play Action > Run Loop Action it seems to have a set time, but that timing doesnt appear to be mirrored if I run PAS to movie.
If I run PAS to movie and make a movie that is, say, 3 minutes long, there is virtually no animation taking place for the whole 3 minutes. What I am seeking to do is to make a movie where the animation is gradual for the length of the movie, so the original image evolves to the end image smoothly and visibly.
Perhaps I can't explain myself correctly!
Hey J, thanks. That video/track is from Organ Choir Drone, & Tom mastered that one.
New one is here.
