Another question about Rutt Etra style :
This one was made with the scriptographer plugin for Illustrator (not by me). But I find it nicer than SA one, more rounded, more precision. With SA the result is more angular. Can it be improve ?
Are you looking for it in the paint synthesizer or via a MSG effect?
I think using the paint synthesizer is better than MSG, it brings more precision.
Bernard, I've used Scriptographer http://scriptographer.org on and off for years and it produces some great and unique results. Unfortunately because of a lack of donations and support developer ürg Lehni stopped supporting the illustrator plugin as of CS6 and so it is not supported in Illustrator CC. However the code has been ported to Javascript and is available as open source as Paper.js. It would be great to see what you can do with either using the Scriptographer code or someday integrating similar features into the SA Vectorizer. Thinking about it the capabilities of Vectorizer seem similar enough!
John, something different as the actual paint brush :
There is not actually a possibility to modulate the size and shape of letters in SA as in this picture.(or I am wrong ?) Would it be a possible feature ?
You can modulate the size and aspect ratio shape of text brush nibs in Studio Artist. The issue is the tracking of the path to get this kind of close packed layout. I'll think about it.
Where can I modify this settings, size modulation and ratio ?
Or, if you are using region fill as brush with text, then the generated region is what defines the sizing for the text.
The Brush Modulation control panel has lots of adjustable parameters to modulate the size and rotation of the brush source.
