2014 is going to be the year I really master Studio Artist, so I have some feature suggestions if that's okay?
There are so many great presets in SA, that I often can't remember which preset I've used for a particular image. It would be nice if on saving, SA would append the preset name (as it does for Gallery Show images). I know that a saved image can be a combination of many presets, so perhaps each image file can also be saved out with a text file 'history' of some kind. An automatic history sequence in the background, that outputs with each image save, perhaps?
Also, can we get some more in depth training videos? So many interesting techniques discussed in this forum that would make make great video tutorials. Personally, I struggle with the editor, I don't know what any of the options mean and I feel I'm not using the software's full potential. My work in SA seems to be by happy accident, rather than by design :-)
I'd also like to be able to do more with alphas and compositing. In Filter Forge I use a filter that removes a white/black background automatically and then take various SA images to Photoshop as layers. It would be nice to have this in SA and be able to combine effects very similar to Postworkshop.
